Kiev Monastery of the Caves, is a historic Orthodox Christian monastery in Kiev, Ukraine. Since its foundation as the cave monastery in 1015 the Lavra has been a preeminent center of the Eastern Orthodox Christianity in Eastern Europe.

Kiev Monastery of the Caves, is a historic Orthodox Christian monastery in Kiev, Ukraine. Since its foundation as the cave monastery in 1015 the Lavra has been a preeminent center of the Eastern Orthodox Christianity in Eastern Europe. Together with the Saint-Sophia Cathedral, it is inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was named one of the Seven Wonders of Ukraine on August 21, 2007, based on voting by experts and the community.

National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve is open daily:
Winter hours: 9:00 - 18.00.
Ticket desk and entrance to the Preserve are open until 18:00
Summer hours: 8:00 - 19:00.
Ticket desk and entrance to the Preserve are open until 19:00

Admission:
Entrance fee (without visiting expositions) - 3 UAH.

Entrance fee (includes visiting expositions and guiding tour):
Adult - 50 UAH
Pupil or student - 25 UAH
